History

Itami since birth was destined to take over his father's position as "The High Priest" of the Shounin. Since birth the signs of what he needed to do were clear, his abilities with his blood techniques proved to rise quickly with his age, allowing him to be a step ahead of other kids his age. While not officially trained as a shinobi, Itami underwent physical, mental, and religious training from his father until the day that his father passed away. At the age of sixteen, those brought into the Shounin need to prove themselves through meditation to complete a particular task. Itami spent three straight days meditating, only to see the image of his parents over and over again. The answer was obvious. Itami needed to take the power from them, his God demanded it. So in a burst of power, Itami rose up and slew the only family that he never knew. His devotion was complete.

He now has spent several years, wandering to find the warriors that will cause the Shounin to rise. They are merely vessels for their Lord, and Itami meditates and prays to him on a daily basis for inspiration.
