Misao is slightly short for her age, but otherwise has a fairly average body shape. Her hair is a teal colour, usually tied up ornately, though when she's relaxed she leaves it loose. Her amber eyes contrast to the few hair sections that usually go over her face. She usually wears a deep blue, big-sleeved shirt, ending mid-thigh with pale electric-y blue edging, and similarly styled pants. Her headband has white cloth, and is tied over her right shoulder and under her left armpit, the metal section crossing over her heart.

History

Misao Kouseki led a somewhat sheltered childhood, spending the majority of her time at home playing with rather strangely designed makeshift toys. Her mother was rather eccentric, most of the house was styled black and ornately, having designed it herself. The various playthings designed for her daughter were likewise eccentric, and Misao herself enjoyed drawing pictures of her own designs. When her mother was shown, she decided to teach Misao how to carve and make basic dolls, an interest she kept with her to this day.

Misao wasn't particularly outstanding in the academy, she was rather weak in taijutsu and genjutsu but excelled in ninjutsu. She usually kept to herself, practicing quietly away from the other students. She doesn't particularly disdain others or anything, just rarely notices them while she works on whatever she's working on. Misao and her mother decided for her to become a shinobi mostly out of lack of anything better to do, it seemed a reasonable thing to do and with the plague and everything it would likely turn out as a profitable career - and an excuse to design more stuff.

Recently, Misao was promoted to the rank of Chuunin, which was a considerably traumatic experience for her. She is unsure if she wants to remain a shinobi.

A series of haphazard occurrences in Sunagakure lead to Misao inexplicably becoming a Special Jonin. During this time, she has focused intensely on training to become stronger, and is determined to become and remain powerful. She has also decided to seek out the one who attacked her, for better or worse.
