Description - An auditory illusion technique developed by Rin. The user makes some hand seals and ends by snapping their fingers. The victim, once enveloped in the Genjutsu, have the nature of the sounds they hear inverted. Basically, the user wound hear something and understand it oppositely. Someone muttering "go there", would translate to "come here". "I'm a bad girl", translates to "I'm a good boy" to the victim. The victim would even hear themselves speaking opposite; if they try to say "I'm from Konoha", they would say that in real life, but they would hear themselves as saying: "I'm not from Konoha". Its use in battle is limited, as there is no point in inverting what your opponent hears apart from causing confusion, and its more of a prank technique. Though, if cast on one person in a group it can disrupt the unity of that group, and is useful against dumb-asses as they would think they're going insane (or the one they're talking to is). However, it can be used as an effective and unbreakable counter to all but the most powerful interrogation techniques should the user cast it on oneself. For example, if one is caught and interrogated by an enemy-nin with an interrogation/truth-seeking genjutsu, one can cast this jutsu as a counter-genjutsu on themselves in order to hear the questions wrong and thus, answer them oppositely or inappropriately. The interrogator, however, would be unable to obtain the correct information as the interrogated user would, on their part, be speaking the truth.

Description - A visual genjutsu developed by Rin. Rin performs hand seals and suddenly the Rin the victim sees seems to strip off her clothes in front of them. A bath tub pops out of nowhere (the victim doesn't question it) and they see Rin going into it. Taking a bath in front of the victim's eyes, Rin mesmerizes them and then invites them in to join her. Meanwhile, the real Rin (who has not stripped) can just sit there, or escape. She cannot harm the victim while in this technique, so let them have some fun!

Description - An auditory illusion technique developed by Rin. The user makes some hand seals and ends by snapping their fingers. The victim, once enveloped in the Genjutsu begins to hear a voice inside their head of one person they held dear above all others. Everyone has someone, and that someone seems to be heard from every direction under the spell of this illusion, constantly reprimanding the victim for them being failures. Even if the victim, say, does not remember meeting that special someone before (like, say, a mother who died at birth but still held great significance to the victim via other means), the subconscious, retaining the effect that the voice of that someone would have on them, would automatically cause the victim to feel depressed at being rejected by that someone. Though, those with strong enough will or a cold enough heart could choose to ignore the voices, even if they do not realize that its a genjutsu. Regardless, it provides an ample distraction.

Description - An auditory illusion technique developed by Rin. The user makes some hand seals and ends by slamming her fist into her palm. The victim, once enveloped in the Genjutsu, have the amplitude of the sounds they hear inverted. The user's perception of 'loud' sounds becomes 'quiet', and their 'quiet' perceptions become 'loud'. In other words, perceptions of sounds they would normally ignore, such as the 'lup-dup' of their own heartbeat or the leaves rustling with the wind is increased to the extent that it becomes mind-boggling, while one fails to notice or has difficulty hearing the sound of, say, a lion's roar, which, to the victim, would sound like a tiny rumble or maybe even completely silent. In other words, the brain, via reflex, may ignore the 'soft' sound of a zanbato piercing through the ground while the 'intense' sound of a pin dropping on that same ground would sound like someone just demolished a building on top of them.

Description - A powerful auditory genjutsu developed by Rin. The user concentrates and makes some hand seals in order to envelop the victim under this genjutsu. Much like the legends of sailors who go out far to the ocean, the victim, once trapped, suddenly hears the calming sounds of the sea; the tides striking against the shore. Whether it is possible or not at the situation may influence the victim (for example, if they are fighting in a desert one may wonder where the Hell a sea came from), but for the most part they would not care about that, much more focused on finding out where the mesmerizing sounds are coming from. Soon, the sounds of the sea will be followed by a melodious, feminine singing voice akin to that of a mermaid's. The victim will find their muscles relaxing against their will due to the effect of the illusion on their minds. The user can use the opportunity to attack or escape. The victim does not completely fall asleep, but will become drowsy, being overcome by an uncanny calm. If the Genjutsu lasts for more than 3 turns, the victim will soon begin to suffer from intense euphoria. If they are strong-willed, they can still fight, but the will begin to suffer increasing impaired balance and poor coordination as the duration of the genjutsu increases. The moment the genjutsu is dispelled, the sounds and singing disappear, though the victim retains some effects of drowsiness (as if they just woke up).

6. and as with 2... so the victim is 'trapped' in an alternate world illusion, and rin can just come up behind them during that time and slit their throat? also, what if they don't have any 'perverted desires'? Or... aren't into half-fish people?

2: doesn't it work that way with all Genjutsu? I mean, whose to say I can't use the Sly Mind Affect Technique and slit my opponent's throat when he's traveling around in circles? Or the Hell Viewing Technique? Whose to say Kakashi couldn't slit off Sakura's throat when she was busy horrifying over the bodiless Sasuke head?

What sailor doesn't like mermaids? o_o But I guess if they don't have perverted desires (hahaha... ha!), they'd just be trapped in a world with a bunch of mermaids around them wanting to play with them. And by not playing with them it'll make the poor mermaids sad :O It'll just last until they figure out its a Genjutsu and dispel it. *shrugs*

except in those genjutsu, the user doesn't vanish from existence, as far as I know, so the victim would still be able to defend themselves against a physical attack. Any ones that does have the user vanish and undetectable would require the user to remain stationary to maintain the illusion, to avoid that very problem.

Kurenai can disappear with the Flower Petal Escape. As in, she maintains the Genjutsu at the same time as moving away. So... whose to say she can't decapitate her victim while they're overcome by the flowers?

because flower petal escape is just that...an escape. it isn't an attack. physically attacking them might ruin the illusion. it's meant to escape a genjutsu, that's it. at least that's my interpretation...and likely how it would be interpreted in all rp situations

And, what about the Temple of Nirvana Technique? Assuming the victim is knocked out after the 4 turns, whose to say the Knocker-Outer (not a word I know) can't stab their unconscious body with a wave of shuriken? Or impale them with a kunai? >.>

temple of nirvana is only there under the condition that it's used pretty much like how it was used in the series, not as a way to go stab someone to death while they're asleep. you couldn't really use it in the middle of a battle either, since you have to remain completely still while casting it.
