History

Shouta is not originally from Konoha. His parents died when he was just a baby, and so he was put into a foster care system, which ende up with him coming to live with a family in Konoha. They raised him until he was old enough to enter into the shinobi academy, where he went because his foster family couldn't take care of him anymore. Eventually, he passed and became a Genin, but he doesn't wish to remain one, at least not in Konoha. He managed to work out a deal with the village that will allow him to wander away from Konoha to do whatever else he wants in life, while still retaining his shinobi career. In order to do this, however, he is required to first pass the Chuunin Exams. Only then will he be allowed to become a wanderer.

He has now passed the chuunin exams and has been allowed to wander, finally. Unfortunately, he has been forced to take his eccentric teammate, Douza, with him, and serve as her bodyguard. He doesn't much like this condition.
