History

Aki was born into a normal family like most. Her mother was a kind and gentle women who loved her deeply. Her mother always could say the right things to make her feel better. Her father always kept to himself, never speaking many words when she was around. Aki always woke up in the middle night hearing her parents argue. She would tip toe near their door and ease drop. Her father would say, "Why couldn't you have given birth to a boy?! She will never be anything! How can I hope to be proud of her? I can never hope to pass on anything to her! I never wanted a girl! I wanted a boy!" Ever since she heard that she always avoided her father and never sought attention from him. She knew that he hated her deep inside even though he would never admit it to her if she asked.

One cold and calm night she awoke to the screams of her mother in the distance. Walking awkwardly and cautiously out of her room with a kunai in her hand. Opening the door slowly to her parents room only to gaze upon her father standing in front of her mother's limp body covered in blood hanging suspended in mid air. The laughs of her father echoed into her ears. Her father looked toward the door and say Aki standing there. He smiled. She backed away from the door and landed clumsily on her back from backing up to far in the small garden her and her mother worked so hard to grow. The kunai fell out of her hand. Her dad loomed over her with a sadistic smile on his face. He raised a sword to her and slashed at her face teasingly. Her face started to drip with warm blood. He held up his sword for a final blow, but was swiftly stopped in time by a shinobi. Neighbors must have heard the cries and shinobi came and restrained her father. He was outraged and stabbed one of them, thus the other shinobi led to lethal force and killed him. Her eyes stared at the sight unable to talk. She didn't realized anyone around her, helping her out. Her mouth hung open the entire time, silent, unable to say anything or answer anything. She knew then that she was all alone now.

Time passed and she started to go to shinobi training school. She had no friends in school, she was shunned for the scar on her face. People would spread rumors about her. She was a quiet and intellectual student doing her work and passing her classes. She said few things only when asked. Her teacher once asked "So class I want to ask why all of you want to become a shinobi. Aki lets start with you."
She looked up from her desk for the first time with a determined look on her face that no ones seen in her before. "To be strong."
