History

Found on the bank of the Hidden River, in the far north West of the Land of Fire, a young boy was nursed back from crushing and drowning injuries. His clothes were practically torn from his body leaving brown colored shreds over his body. It was then that highwaymen, hiding after a pillaging a large cache and caravan came across his body. The Highwaymen brought the child back from the brink drowning and a broken body. The bandits had originally decided to keep the boy as a slave. It wasn't until the boy showed the first signs of a bloodline that the bandits realized what exactly they'd stumbled upon. The decision to sell the boy was unanimous among the Highwaymen as the treasure for the boy alone was worth was nearly triple that of the big haul they'd just stolen away from.

As he was found on the banks of a river the young boy was named Taiga, and Sold firstly to an interested broker who specialized in Shinobi with pedigree, and though he knew what the young Taiga was, he refused to comment, eventually turning around and selling the young feudal lord with a plan, for a pile of money three times what he'd paid to the bandits. And retire happily off that sum.

The young feudal lords plan was simply put rebellion, and through no fault of his own the young boy aided that plan in the land of fire. Helping the young feudal lord to build a fortress with no weaknesses in it's structure. To the young slave boy it was a game. To the Master Artisans and Crafters working on the walls it was their lives work. The young slave Taiga's life was simply a daily cycle of watching the wall be constructed and sleep. Something that went on for nearly two years until he was about six or so.

The night that the wall was completed everything changed. The next day was going to be the day the feudal lord declared his provinces Independence from the Daimyo. Instead it saw to the arrival of team Karasu. The wall built over the course of two years was demolished with a single Jutsu. The men that'd sworn themselves to fight and die at the words of the Feudal lord did just that. All of them within moments of the alarm sounding perished.

With the slaves freed and all running for the hills. It left the young boy scared and confused hiding amongst the rubble of the destroyed fortress. Crying and shivering. It was then that a woman he'd never seen before stood over him. Taiga shook and tried to claw away but the woman pulled the scared young child into her arms and held him to against her.

As team Karasu left the shattered compound with an extra body. The young Seiya who was barren had finally decided to adopt a child, and this one had touched her deeply. It was also that she knew from the records she'd recovered from the now assassinated Slaver Trader and the records of the Fortress the team had just destroyed what his capabilities were.

Seiya officially adopted Taiga and brought him into the Karasu family, and from that day raised him as a proper shinobi should be raised, teaching him the basics before putting him into the academy two years late.
