First Site Event/Saga

First topic message reminder :

Alright, it's time to start up at least the preliminary information for our first saga, which will involve the introduction of bijuu to the site, brought forth by our cultist group attempting to steal them for their power. While I'm not certain exactly how the event will play out, we would like to give everyone an opportunity to participate, by signing up one of their characters here. Those characters that are signed up to participate will receive certain rewards upon the completion of the saga. It can be a high level to help retrieve the stolen bijuu, or a lower level nin who could possibly be kidnapped for various reasons yet to be decided. A note to the mods, though, all the kages will be participating by default. Also, once this saga ends, there will be jinchuriki. You may also apply for one of those, which can be given to an already made character (that started as a Genin), or given to a new character that you will create later. Keep in mind that since there are only 9 jinchuriki available to go around, and more than 9 members on the site, priority will be given to those who joined first. When applying for a bijuu, give your top three choices for which one you want. Also, I apologize in advance to any of our newer members who might not get one due to 9 older members applying :cry:. The deadline for sign ups is this Thursday, so better to sign up sooner rather than later.

Butbutbutbut....turtles are like, so cool! Why is the 3 tails like the worst Bijuu ever?

First, it has the worst bijuu powers of all time. They're just on par with S/A rank suiton or genjutsu.
Second, it looks ridiculous. It has good points in appearance, but the end result is stupid.
Third, it wasted so much of our anime time with its stupid filler. That was the only bad shippuuden filler, and was only tolerable because of Deidara and Tobi and Guren.
Fourth, I just freaking hate it.

Lol, I think, like, the shippuden thingies make like the three-tails look bad...I've never like watched those fillers (is that what they like call them?). And I just like looked at the bijuu page and like they honestly aren't like that bad. Andandand...turtles are cute....

That was a particularly well-done picture, all other representations of it are derp.
Fillers are things in the anime that aren't in the manga. In most anime/manga pairings, they're wastes of time and hated. Shippuuden, however, manages to make them more like expanding upon the plot and all-around cool to see.

Lol, like, cool. I just like feel sorry for the person who has to like choose the abilities for Sanbi. It like kind of stinks, having like only two free spots open.

ok, below is the list of what shounin are going where, and who's fighting/kidnapping who.

Kiri- Kame kidnaps Gama and Rakdos, and fights Taiga. One off screen NPC kidnapping.
Suna- Itami fights Sonya, Susano'o fights Misao, Aki kidnaps Haruka. Two off screen NPC kidnappings.
Iwa- Karasu fights Noroi, Hitomi fights Amazora. Three off screen NPC kidnappings.

Hah, sweet. At first I was all "but how do I fight him what", then I was all "eh it's probably gonna be curbstompish but like eh" then I was all "OH WAIT THIS MEANS [STUFF]" and was happy

Okay, well I guess it looks like you can have the Two Tails when this part of the saga is over, Mafia.... Geist is officially long gone, apparently. Go look at the Bijuu skills and choose the three you want for it (Two Tails comes with the Demon Fireball by default, taking up 1 of 4 spots).

Also, Kyle has been gone long enough now that he's lost his place in this particular saga part. He has one week from today to return, or he loses his Bijuu, too.

And another thing, as soon as your characters have completed whatever role they have in this part, they can obtain their rewards from it. So all you people who are just fighting, you can get your rewards once your fight is over. Kidnappers, Shounin, and Kages will be able to get their rewards once things are brought to a close.

Okay, erm, first off, does rewards include Bijuu? If so, how does it make any sense that I'd get one?
Second, errr, I kinda figured fight was like kidnap except with more fighting, it doesn't really make sense to randomly fight this one girl.. plus don't fightees kinda miss some/most of the saga?
I'm just kinda, y'know, confused.

I mean the listed ryo/ap/tp rewards. bijuus obviously can't be obtained until the end.

fights were included because otherwise there just would have been kidnapping, and not every participant was going to be kidnapped. we wanted others to be able to be involved as well if they wanted, even if it was a smaller role. reasons for the fights range from the victim being someone strong that needed to be eliminated to keep them out of the way, to the shounin's god foreseeing that they could become a potential threat in the future if not taken care of in the case of our lower ranked victims, or the fact that they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time when the shounin happened to show up... which was actually how most of them were supposed to end up, but I guess it didn't work that way.

the first half of this part is the invasion of the villages and kidnapping the hosts for the bijuu, the second part is their attempt to steal the bijuu, and the kages stopping them. there were still be many more parts in the future, this is just the first piece of the story

Aaaah, right. Thanks for clearing things up, I just wanted to know for character development.

Maybe I should have applied for the Giant Turtle that nobody wanted and made that whole adventure make ten times more sense. o_o
