| Rakdos stood outside a large building, one that had been abandoned long ago in Kiri. Apparently with the building of the main village it had been mostly forgotten. Not all had forgotten it though. “Nine Toes”, Rakdos said under his breath as he opened up the scroll with the biography about the man. Nine Toes was originally a shinobi that worked for Kiri, having apparently great signs in the beginning and having an advanced sense of chakra control. However, upon taking the chunin exams he got into a battle with a fellow student and ended up getting his leg stabbed, causing him to lose a toe. “That explains the nickname”, Rakdos muttered to himself. For some reason, after that he wasn’t able to progress in anyway, not even able to gather any more strength. He couldn’t run well anymore because of the missing body part. He left the village once they explained why they couldn’t promote him. He had taken to gathering various low level mercenaries and bandits under his thumb.
“Well Nine Toes, you’ll get that fight you always wanted”, Rakdos said as he moved forward. The information said that Nine Toes would be in here alone for the most part, with very few guards. The village didn’t see him as a large enough threat to send someone powerful after him. “Your arrogance of the village’s kindness will be the reason that you die today”, Rakdos said as he narrowed his eyes. He moved through a series of passages, parts of it lined with various blades and weapons that Rakdos was not familiar with. They looked foreign, as if Nine Toes was gathering up a large enough arsenal to launch some sort of assault. Rakdos just kept moving, eventually moving through a doorway that lead into a make shift throne room. Rakdos looked around, only to hear a few footsteps.
A man clad in leather armor and facial hair suddenly appeared. “Well it looks like they sent another shinobi here to die!”, the man said with a grin. It was obviously nine toes, the sandals on his feet made that apparently obvious. “Well sorry kid, but once I gather up all my boys I’ll have to take down your precious village of yours. Than I will be the Mizukage!”, he said as he pounded his fist into his chest, as if that made him tougher or something.
“You overestimate your abilities Nine Toes. You have a goal and yet you can’t see your own weaknesses well enough. For that, you must be punished with death”, Rakdos said as he stared at Nine Toes. There was a moment of silence, and than movement. Rakdos quickly darted forward, Nine Toes making hand signs as he prepared a jutsu. Fire emerged from his mouth, appearing to engulf Rakdos in flames. However, it was only a ruse as Rakdos appeared at Nine Toes side, A slash went into the man’s side, tearing at his flesh. Nine Toes screamed and aimed a slash with a knife that he had in his possession. However, Rakdos’s tail moved up and grabbed the man’s hand. “Sorry Nine Toes……..but you’re not a part of the rising age”, Rakdos said before suddenly launching his hand forward, his claws piercing the man’s rib cage and sinking into his heart.
Nine Toes dropped without a word, just like how his name would drop from history. “Too bad Nine Toes, it would have been interesting to see you if you had continued to progress. Ambition leads us to do terrible things sometimes”, Rakdos said to himself before moving out of the building.
