Noyamano D. Haruka	How long had she been traveling? She had absolutely no clue. It had been like this for so many days now. Had it been a month? She would not know. Oh, how much she loathed the world right now. She knew, somehow, deep down inside, that there were good people out there too, people that would need her help and would help her when they found out about her. She did not know how she knew that; as far as she could remember, people had always tortured and abused her. Of course, considering she did not remember much beyond a couple weeks ago, being beaten and raped and now even the forces of nature were against her. Tears welled up in her eyes as she thought about the latter; those... bastards, if she ever found them again she would... she would... She scowled as she felt the hot desert sand against the soles of her feet. It was so hot, the searing desert sand and rock giving burns all across her feet, yet she had gotten used to it by now, walking across it for over two weeks. This was all so, so... !!! She yelled and attempted to kick the air in frustration, only for her foot to come crashing down into a rock and putting a spider-web crack all across it. Nothing peculiar there; she had always been strong. It was only too painful. "Ow!" She yelled, falling back on her butt into the sand, her fingers immediately coming up to nurse her bruised toes. After assuring that they were done with, she forced herself up again, beginning to set out on her little Hell's journey again. She did know where she was, just that there was sand as far as she could see. Her clothes -- animal fur covering her cleavage - courtesy of a bunch of weird animals she had hunted in the desert - and some blue shorts covering her lower body from her waist to her mid-thighs - courtesy of her 'masters', they being the only piece of clothing the bastards had left her with before throwing her out to burn -- were soaking with her sweat and clinging to her as the desert Sun shined across her body mercilessly. She began to pant. She had to find shelter now; she knew that, somehow, instinctively, perhaps? Or one of her latent memories? Or she would die. She knew it. Panting, her face resembling a tomato from the sheer heat, she brought her arm, dripping with sweat, up to shield her eyes from the Sun as the filmy orbs scanned the area all around. There was nothing in sight except the searing desert sand and rock and... a cliff? Yeah. A cliff. Maybe it had a cave or something that she could rest and recover her strength in. Taking in a deep breath, she began to walk forward, hissing as the increasingly hotter ground burned her uncovered soles. As she neared the cliff, she began to notice an opening. A slit of sorts. It way too far off... Taking in another deep breath, she began to walk forward, intending to reach the Entrance when suddenly she found her limbs could not move. She felt her face crash into the seething hot rock of the desert and almost screamed, and she would have too if only her tongue and lips responded. Her pupils dilated; she did not have it in her anymore. She had reached her limit, she could not go on. Darkness seemed to sprout from the sides of her vision, before overtaking her as she lay there, completely out of it.

Sonya	"Slow dooooown!" Sonya shrieked, holding onto the edge of the flying rock for dear life, to keep from being launched backwards into the air. "I swear I hate this technique! There have to be better ways to travel!" "Calm down and sit tight," Hachi said, giving her a glare. "You're overreacting, seriously. It's not that bad." "Says the person who's been doing this for years! I don't normally fly around on shooting rocks!" Sonya let out another scream as they flew like a rocket, heading towards the village entrance. Eventually, her fingers slipped and before she knew it, she was airborne. "Waaaahhhhhh!" She landed on a dune of soft sand with a loud 'oof', the wind instantly knocked out of her. "Ohhhh...." she groaned, slowly sitting upright and holding her head. "Seriously, Hachi.... slow the fuck down!" She coughed several times before finally able to get back up to her feet. It was at this point that she noticed something in the sand in front of her. Well, not something, more like someone. Low and behold, the body of an apparently unconscious or dead girl was lying face down on the ground. It stunningly reminded of her own first arrival at Suna. "I told you to hold on," Hachi said, floating his rock down next to her. He then noticed the other girl. "Well what do you know, another mystery girl randomly showing up ion the desert. I don't suppose you two know each other?" Sonya took her head. "Nope...but let's get her some medical attention. And have plenty of water ready for when she wakes up... she'll be wanting some." She grabbed the girl and lifted her onto the floating rock, which then started towards the village again, thankfully much slower this time.

Sonya	Sonya walked calmly through the sands of the Suna desert, whistling to herself. It was another bright sunny day in Wind Country, just as it was everyday. Not a cloud in the sky, scorching temperatures, whipping winds... and she liked it. At first it had been brutal, but then she'd grown accustomed to it. She even had a dark, sexy tan. She looked quite good with it, she thought. Of course there were tan lines, but she was too modest to try and find somewhere to tan in a way that would eliminate such things... Regardless, she enjoyed the desert now, it wasn't so bad.

Chishio Itami	Itami crouched low in the sand, watching Sonya from afar as she seemed to not have a care in the world. He remember when he used to be that relaxed and carefree. It was before he had realized he had much to do in this world. That responsibility pushed him to pray, study, and train every day in order to do the tasks that needed to come. And now here he was, and Sonya was on the receiving end of those responsibilities. "I do not know why I must fight you woman, but I cannot allow myself to go easy on you", he said as he cut a few lines along his arms and his chest. If the Beloved wanted him to fight this woman in particular, she must have posed a serious threat, especially if Itami was the one to deal with her. After the cuts were made Itami quickly leapt up, running across the Suna sands as the blood poured freely from his chest. He ran at an angle that did not directly lead towards Sonya, but instead one that would allow her to see a strange foreigner who was injured running at a fast rate. Perhaps she'd just go out and attack, or perhaps she'd be cautious and confused by such an arrival. Either way, Itami barely kept Sonya within the corner of his eye, watching to see what was done next.

Sonya	Sonya squinted as she spotted something off in the distance. Against the sun, she couldn't quite make it out, so she raised an arm up to block the bright rays from her immediate line of sight. When her vision finally adjusted, she spotted an unknown man running like a demon across the desert sands, almost parallel to where she was standing. She didn't even think that he knew she was there. She also managed to make out that the man was bleeding, leaving streams of blood droplets behind him. Well, that was something you didn't see everyday. This left her pondering what she should do about this finding. If this was an injured traveler, she had an obligation to help the man, and find him some help. But something didn't sit right about the situation... a lone man, running with blood dripping down his body, and managing to cross paths with Sonya out in the middle of the desert, miles away from any marked roads... what were the odds of that exactly? She wanted to investigate, but she couldn't shake that nervous feeling in her gut. So, making a hand sign, she created a shadow clone and had it go take a look. She, meanwhile, sunk to one knee and watched. "Hey!" the clone shouted, waving her hands and trying to catch up to the man. "Hey there! Slow down!"

Chishio Itami	Itami quickly glanced over as the woman made a shadow clone. Wise, she was being cautious. He supposed that he should have known that she'd be smarter than that if the Beloved wanted her defeated. Still, if she was one that he needed to be cautious of than what other tricks might she possess? Well, no point on speculating. It was time to get down to business. Itami quickly turned on the spot and lashed his arm out, sending small droplets of blood which quickly turned into tiny blood kunai. It wasn't a huge offensive move, but hopefully it would at least destroy the clone and not allow it to unleash a jutsu. Along with that, it would allow Sonya to figure out that this guy was definitely not a friend.

Sonya	Not a friend indeed, that much was certain as the memories of the clone came flooding back. Sonya immediately took on a defensive position. This man was an enemy, though she wasn't sure why or how. She'd never seen him before, so why would he attack a complete stranger? Unless, perhaps, he had something to hide. She also managed to infer that the man had used his blood to attack her clone, something she would have to keep in mind and look out for. It was possible in that case that even a single drop of his blood could be deadly. For now, she waited where she was. If he wanted to attack her so badly, he would have to come make the first move.

Chishio Itami	Itami watched as the clone vanished once his blow landed. His eyes narrowed as he tried to make out if the woman was doing anything. She wasn't fleeing, and she wasn't getting any closer. Perhaps she was waiting for him to make the first move? If that was the case, than Itami would gladly do so. The Priest began to move forward, beginning at a slow rate. However, once he had reached about the halfway point from where he began and where Sonya was, he suddenly body flickered to the side of Sonya with his higher level of speed. As Itami landed he shot his hand forward, lightning spewing from it and charging forward as it took on the form of a wolf that was heading directly towards Sonya.

Sonya	And just like that, the man vanished into thin air, reappearing off to her side. Shit, he was fast! By the time Sonya got herself turned around, she had a lightning beast racing at her. Leaping backwards, she made a hand sign and let off a bolt of black lightning from her mouth. Had she tried for anything that required more than a single sign and she likely wouldn't have had time to get it off. Even still, the resulting explosion of electrical energy from the colliding jutsu sent her spinning backwards. She hit the ground and rolled, managing to deftly pop back to her feet and slide across the sand to a halt. Her hair was standing slightly on end from the static. "Who are you?" she asked, taking in a breath. "And just what do you want with me?"

Chishio Itami	Itami's eyes widened a bit as a bolt of black lightning shot from the girl's mouth. He wasn't familiar with that technique, but it definitely looked like one that might be worth looking into sometime. Still, that was for another time. As she got up once again, Itami prepared to launch another attack but stopped as she began to speak to him. "Who I am is not of any importance, not yet at least", Itami said with a smile. "You only need to know, that I am a man that is going to change the world", he said before suddenly making an extremely quick series of hand signs. He quickly ran towards Sonya as a bright Chidori showed on his hand. Given the distance between them and Itami's superior speed, Sonya would need to come up with a defense pretty quickly in order to avoid injury.

Sonya	Sonya raised her eyebrows as the man started running towards her. He knew the Chidori, too? Surprising, and it proved that he truly did want her dead, for reasons unknown to her. You didn't use the Chidori on an opponent you wanted to live. But, you also didn't use the Chidori in the way he was using it without having a fail safe way to avoid a counter. Straight charges weren't difficult to avoid, though he certainly did have impressive speed. That speed, though, would only enhance the tunnel vision he received from his charge. She used that to her advantage. Activating her Sharingan, she waited. It was only a short few seconds before he reached her, and as his Chidori hand came at her, she ducked and rolled away, reaching into her hip pack in the process. When she popped back to her feet, she jumped backwards and released three large, bladed pinwheel shuriken, each with a wire attached to them. They circled around the man, attempting to bind him tightly.

Chishio Itami	Itami let out a curse under his breath as Sonya dodged the attack. Chidori was good as a finisher technique, but it wasn't one that you should use over and over again by failing it. The Chidori quickly faded from his hand as he turned towards where Sonya was. As the blades came, Itami moved from side to side. He thought that he was dodging them, but he didn't see the wires that were attached and because of that Itami soon found that wire was tying around various parts of his body. "What?", he asked in surprise as he realized that he had been caught. Itami tried to move, but the wires were too tight.

Sonya	Sonya hesitated a moment as the wires pulled tightly around him. That almost seemed too easy... She was sure that this man was someone of a high level of skill, so she knew she couldn't let her guard down, even if she had him tied. For all she knew, binding him like this was exactly what he wanted and would lead to a quick defeat. But she had to remain confident. "I asked who you were," she said, pulling on the wires to make them tighter. She started making hand signs, as well. "I don't like fighting someone when I don't know why I'm fighting, it just seems pointless. You going to talk, or am I just going to have to roast you right here?"

Chishio Itami	Itami glanced up towards Sonya as she continued to ask her questions. Please, if she thought that he was going to talk just because he was tied up than she had another thing coming! Itami just gained a tiny smile and decided to play the game. "My name is Itami, and I am the High Priest of my religion. We are going to save the world from those that would have it destroyed", he said as he looked right at Sonya. "What is it that you wish to know in specific?", he asked. As Itami spoke, he activated his blood pumping technique in order to allow his heart to pump blood faster and force more blood to come out of the wounds that he had already made. In a bit longer, he'd have enough blood to counter this trap he was in.

Sonya	"High priest..." Sonya muttered, narrowing her eyes. "Of... religion... save the world... so you mean you're a delirious crack pot, right?" She really hate listening to overzealous, sanctimonious, religious nut jobs. She'd known her fair share in the past, and they always rubbed her the wrong way. From what she was gathering, this guy was just delusional and attacking her because of some misguided path of self righteousness. Finishing her hand signs, she brought the wire ends up to her lips and glared hard at him. "It doesn't really matter now, I'll be taking you in to Suna, where you you can answer for your crime of attacking an official Sand Shinobi." With that, she breathed out a long burst of flames that traveled straight down the wire trail at the trapped Itami.

Chishio Itami	Itami just gained a tiny smile. "You understand so little. You have met too many of the fake ones, the ones that do nothing but try to manipulate and desire power for themselves", the Priest said as he looked towards Sonya. He glanced at the ground very briefly as he saw that the blood was beginning to gather to a decent amount. He looked up once again as Sonya breathed out her threat, along with her fire. Itami just smiled as he used only one of his hands to create a few hand signs. Sonya would have to watch as the blood at his feet suddenly rose up, and launched itself straight towards her. Itami could handle a few burns, he just hoped that Sonya wouldn't be able to react to the sudden attack.

Sonya	As her flames scorched down the wires, Sonya's eyes widened, witnessing Itami's counter. He could perform hand signs with only one hand?! She'd never even heard of such a thing before! And just like that, a massive tube of blood whipped up from the ground in the form of a roaring dragon. "Shit!" she cried out, bringing her hands up to form at least a moderate guard. The blood dragon lifted her straight off her feet and threw her backwards, airborne. She landed hard on her back, the wind rushing from her lungs. She groaned, rolling around on the sand for a few seconds before pushing herself slowly back up. "Bastard..." she muttered. "This was my favorite shirt... now it's ruined."

Chishio Itami	Itami felt his teeth biting down hard as he felt the heat from the flames reach him. "AHHHH", he said through gritted teeth. He watched as his dragon made contact with Sonya, sending her flying back from being smacked by it. Itami quickly moved his arms, trying to get the flaming wires off of him. He shook a little as he could see the burned lines surrounding his body. They hurt, but thankfully he hadn't been hit anywhere near as hard as Sonya. As he became free he looked towards her, as she was muttering about her favorite shirt being ruined. "Sorry, but it's necessary", he said simply before using his body flicker to move towards her, followed by leaping up and aiming a kick directly into her stomach. He wasn't as fast as he was because of the burns, but hopefully she wouldn't be able to react in time.

Sonya	By the time Sonya looked up again, her opponent was already on the move. He disappeared again, causing her to recoil and step backwards in panic. This guy was way too fast for his own good. Fortunately, she still had her sharingan active. She could see his motions this time, followed them closely. She saw his kick come in, a direct shot to her stomach. She was just able to get her hands up in time to catch the kick. It pushed her back a few feet, but she blocked it well enough. For all his speed, this man severely lacked in power for Sonya to be able to catch his kick, because she was far from excelling in the physical strength department. When she caught his leg, she focused a powerful current of chakra through her body, the chidori current to be precise. She let the current spark around her, and hopefully into her good friend, Mr. Bloody. She waited a moment, then threw herself backward, away from him to put some distance between them. She held her chest, breathing hard and sharingan deactivating; she didn't have a lot left in her, but hopefully that last trick would at least slow him down a bit so she could keep up.

Chishio Itami	Itami narrowed his eyes as it appeared that Sonya was fast enough to catch his kick and at least block it for the very large part. That was fine with him. "Nice try", Itami said as he began to make some hand signs. However, Sonya would stop Itami's trick by sending a powerful current of electricity into him. He let out a pained yell and stumbled backward several feet and falling onto his back. Fire and lightning? She was quite the elemental user. "You deserve far more credit than I was originally going to give you", Itami said as he forced himself to his feet. The priest slowly looked towards Sonya, trying to see what she was going to do next. If he could find an opening to get in close, he believed that he could finish this fight.

Sonya	"And you deserve a good kick in the face," Sonya retorted, slowly steadying her breathing. She made two short hand signs. "But I think I'll settle for this instead." Around Itami, an imaginary swirl of leaves would rise up around him. They spun faster and faster, until finally falling away and disappearing. To Itami, at first nothing would have changed. He was still there, and so was Sonya. After a brief pause, however, the genjutsu would draw out his inner fear, the one thing would never want to see. Sonya backed off, hoping to gain an opportunity for a small recovery while the illusion took hold.

Chishio Itami	Itami just blinked as leaves suddenly came out of nowhere. "The hell?", he asked himself. They were in the middle of Suna for goodness sake! What was that!? However, Itami didn't have time to think about it before suddenly seeing a horrifying sight. Sonya would just see Itami begin to have water in his eyes, large tears. He suddenly ran forward and fell onto his knees. "No no no no no, how can this be? You were supposed to be elsewhere Aki", Itami said under his breath. "You weren't supposed to be here, you weren't supposed to get hurt", he said weakly. The fact that none of it was real hadn't yet set in.

Sonya	Sonya watched carefully. Obviously the genjutsu was having its full effect on him. That was good, she had time to get her breath back and come up with a plan. To start with, she reached in her pack and started pulling out all twelve of her kunai, one by one, and laying them out on the sand in front of her.

Chishio Itami	Itami began to make his hand glow green, having it begin to attempt to heal the wounds that were all over Aki's body. Nothing was working! How could that be possible! "No no no no no no no!", Itami said as he saw that her wounds weren't closing. What kind of technique was this!? Itami's healing jutsu was being cancelled. "Aki, you have to stay with me, you need to fight it! You can pull through this, you just have to pray and believe............don't let it take you. It's not yet your time!"
