| “Okay, now come on!” Shiro said, standing atop the ladder leaned against the house. “her fence wasn't enough?! Now we have to paint her whole house?! This is like slave labor, I swear!”
“Except... for the fact we're getting paid,” Kagura stated, giving her teammate a hard look.
Kenshin opened up one of the paint cans and started stirring it. “Yeah... and besides, it could be worse. You could be tripping over garbage bags again.”
Kagura burst out laughing at the comment, which only made Shiro glower at them both.
“Just don't fall off the ladder,” Kenshin added, dipping one of the paint brushes.
“Oh please, I'm not going to fa-waaahhh!” Shiro called out, suddenly flailing his arms as the ladder started to tip backwards. Before he knew it, he was falling through the air, landing hard in one of the bushes next to the house. “.....ow.”
Sonya came out from behind the corner of the house, whistling innocently. She may or may not have given the ladder a little push... “Everyone ready? Where's Shiro? ...oh, there you are. Quit lying around, we have work to do.”
