Name – Suiton: Suitenhōfutsu - Water Release: Water Sky Convergence

Description – This jutsu enables the user to control water and moisture much like Gaara controls his sand. It can be used to block most incoming attacks, bind or drown opponents, and shape the water into various attacks, allowing the user in conjunction with the Summoning Technique to allow water-based summonings to fight in areas that it normally need water to move around by either trapping the target in the same water or maneuvering the water to allow the summing to chase the target. It is able to extract and utilize groundwater, and as is very effective most areas, but useless in rocky areas.

Jutsu was in a filler arc, and I'm no expert at choosing ranks for stuff, figured it was in the D-C rank range.

um, yeaaaah, after watching the episodes that this was in, it would definitely be higher than a D-rank. I would probably say A-rank, but the problem isn't rank, it's that it allows too many possible uses under a single technique. It basically allows you to bend and control water at will, à la Avatar, which I'm not a fan of in a Naruto setting. Even Gaara has many different sand techniques that he has to execute individually, he doesn't just have a single sand jutsu that lets him do whatever he wants.

EDIT: Of note, I wasn't really thinking about the whole attack block whatever-ery, more just moving water around and stuff. Which probably doesn't even constitute a jutsu, does it?

I guess it depends as to what degree of 'moving water around' you mean.

Name – Raiton: Rasenarashi - Lightning Release: Spiral Storm

Description – The Lightning variant of a Rasengan, Rasenarashi is unlike the other elements in that it functions as a ranged attack without senjutsu aid. Charged with lightning element, the spinning chakra is gradually let go, bolts of lightning fly off from the main sphere. Controlling this process without the whole thing exploding is, naturally, highly difficult: as a result it is nigh-impossible to perform without striking yourself a fair amount of times. The majority of the attack will still, of course, be centered on the opponent, and it is still controllable enough to vary between a more concentrated beam and a wide-spread field.

Description – The Water variant of a Rasengan, Rasenkarada is a less direct attack as the other elemental rasengans. Once formed, the sphere wobbles and distorts slightly in the user's hand. Upon contact with the enemy, Rasenkarada passes through their body, flowing through them, twisting and contorting their internal organs. Due to the liquid-y nature of the jutsu, the user's hand tends to become slightly distorted as well, the worst cases barely resembling a hand at all.

also, I'd rather none of the elemental rasengans be a ranged attack. it's the reason why we only have the "incomplete" version of the rasen shuriken.

I kind of figured it was because it was massive-scale destruction with no downside. It's certainly not as powerful as the other ones, and it is also rather self-harmful like them.

And I meant like, you know. Horrible horrible internal gore stuff. Like a blender or something.

but for the second one... idk, that one seems a little iffy. I mean if it basically liquefies your insides, it seems like it would be a definite kill. With the others, you can play them off as just being crippling damage but still survivable. With this one, I'm not even sure something like that could be healed.

True enough. Maybe slightly less omnideath, just a bit of a twisting type thing for a moment.

It could always be changed to something else entirely, of course.

Description – The Water variant of a Rasengan, Mugenrasen is first created, larger than a normal rasengan, and then compressed. Adding more and more chakra while stabilizing it until it is no longer able to hold, exploding in a massive, swirling water-vortex. The resulting chaos constantly barrages everyone caught in its wake, causing concussion and blunt strikes all over the body.

Name – Doton: Rasenassaiki - Earth Release: Spiral Crusher

Description – The Earth Rasengan, Rasenassaiki has varying results depending on the location of the fight. Once it is formed, it is slammed into the ground, churning and spinning it. Sandy areas will collapse sooner, but in the end even sturdy rocks will crumble. Rasenassaiki swirls the ground around, dragging enemies down into the earth. After a point, the jutsu sends out all its remaining chakra into compressing the earth around the targets, crushing them. Rasenassaiki will execute regardless of the user's input once it is activated, so it can not only harm them if they are too slow, it can be turned against them as well.

Note: I'm fairly certain the damage Rasenshruiken caused was described as "irreparable" as well. I provided an alternative anyway. Nothing better to do XD

well sand prison burial is already only usable with a person's permission because of its affects lol, the same thing on a larger scale might be a bit much. what about something that causes the ground to explode or something like that?

The following are jutsus designed for those with Satetsu, because 3 jutsus for a bloodline is kinda sad. No, of COURSE these aren't copies. Obviously. Wherever would you get that idea?


Name - Satetsu Shuriken - Iron Sand Shuriken

Description - The user shapes the sand composing his arms into countless shuriken, and he swings them both. Taking advantage of that formidable centrifugal force, the fired blades of sand change into dangerous weapons. They create and fire an uninterrupted succession of sand rounds, tearing everything in sight to pieces.

Name - Satetsu no Sabaku Fuyuu - Iron Desert Sand Floating

Description - This is one of the multiple offensive and auxiliary methods Gaara has thought of during combat, mimiced by users of Iron Sand. It is a trick where they uses the chakra enhanced sand to support their own weight and float in mid-air.

Description - The Iron Sand Clone is different from the other types of clone techniques in that the sand does not completely assume the form of the user, but remains as sand the entire time. That is to say, the clone's form can be changed instantly into sand, and the enemy's body can be trapped. Its many applications with long-range attacks can have it act as a lure and a decoy. This is where it draws the line with other clones.

Description - After clotting together iron sand into countless small lumps, the user uses them to attack an enemy from every direction. Because all the sand lumps are controlled by chakra, it is possible to commence an attack without any blind spots. This technique is often used as lure in battle, distracting an opponent and leaving them vulnerable to an attack from below. In order for this to work, the enemy is first made to face upwards with the sand rain, simultaneously bringing their field of activities under the user's control. Then, a bold move is made from underfoot.

Description - Sabaku Kyuu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Gaara, then mimiced by Satetsu users. The user will cause sand to rise from the ground and wrap around the legs of his target, restraining them in place. The sand will then rise up to full encase the target. This technique alone can crush the bones of his opponent but the technique is usually used to prepare the victim for a follow-up attack.

Name - Satetsu no Tate - Shield of Iron Sand

Description - The user is capable of moving iron sand around themselves and blocking attacks with it. Unlike the original technique, the shield is not automatic, therefore their chakra control, concentration, intelligence and other factors will affect its effectiveness. The shield is capable of withstanding considerably strong attacks and projectiles, and can be hardened to a point where it's stronger than steel. The user can also completely surround himself in the shield to further increase his defensive capabilities.

Name - Satetsu no Yoroi - Armor of Iron Sand

Description - Using this jutsu, the user can cover himself in a compacted layer of iron sand, providing an additional defence should his Shield of Iron Sand fail. Though quite effective, maintaining the armour requires a large amount of chakra and stamina. Furthermore, it is nowhere as resilient as the Shield of Iron Sand, since it can break away upon impact, meaning that the sole purpose of the armour is to absorb impact channelled unto Gaara's body during battle. Another weakness is the additional weight of the sand means a great decrease of speed and mobility.

Name - Rendan Satetsu Shigure - Iron Sand Shower Combo

Description - A more powerful version of Gaara's Sand Shower. The user creates dozens of iron sand bullets that he uses to shower the enemy.

Name - Satetsu no Mayu - Cocoon of Iron Sand

Description - The user completely surrounds themselves with his Shield of Sand to further increase his guard against attacks. He then creates a small opening to watch his opponents' movements and control sand as necessary to battle them. In addition to being extremely dense, this sand-sphere can form spikes from its surface to spear any would-be attacker. They can also use this jutsu in mid-air.

um...I'm not sure if I want to have the satetsu clan just have exact copies of regular sand jutsus. I mean, I'd rather if they had custom jutsus, they be original instead. Some of the more basic ones would be okay, like sand floating, sand clone, and maybe sand armor, but the others are just bordering on plagiarizing the poor shukaku, lol.

Fair enough. To paraphrase a great man "I'm just throwing jutsu at the suggestion board and seeing what sticks." After all, iron sand was meant to be shukaku-rip-off anyway XD

TIME FOR VAGUE ORIGINALITY
Name - Jishaku Maboroshi Tsuwamono - Magnet Phantom Warrior
Type - Ninjutsu
Rank - C
Element - Magnetism
Description - Using magnetism, the user can fight with metal weapons at a distance. The user needs to have a Chakra Control level equal or higher than any Taijutsu move they want to perform, in addition to the related Taijutsu rank and the knowledge of the move itself. The weapon has speed equal to the user's Chakra Control, and strength equal to their Stamina.

Name - Satetsu Hayashi - Iron Sand Forest

Description - Using Iron Sand, the user makes long snaking branchways, reducing movement area and granting themselves opportunity to use more Iron Sand jutsu.

Description - Using magnetism, the user sends a controlled pulse or pull at the enemy, flinging away anything metal that isn't held down tightly. If the enemy is wearing a lot of metal, they could be sent flying entirely.

Name - Jishaku Sekiryoku - Magnet Repulsion
Type - Ninjutsu

Element - Magnetism
Description - The user uses their magnetic chakra to repulse metal away from themselves, deflecting weapons and attacks. Repeated uses are draining on the user, and depending on the strength of the attack they may be more draining, or break through the shield entirely.

As always, can alter ranks as need be. Not good with that, of course.

I'm not sure on the self puppetry one, it seems like encasing yourself in iron would slow you, rather than speed you up, though it would be useful as armor.

also, add in that you cannot maintain the magnetic force on magnet crusher, just long enough to have the metal objects flung at them. otherwise, you could turn an opponent into a magnet and have them running from flying swords the entire fight, and they couldn't just dodge them since the magnetic field would pull the weapons wherever the person moved.

and can you explain more what you mean in the second sentence of phantom warrior?

a) You're encasing yourself in iron, then pushing/pulling yourself with magnetic force.

b) Yeah, fair enough, that makes sense

c) Like having Chakra Control 2 lets you perform C or lower Taijutsu moves, CC4 for A-rank, etc.

Name – Doton: Hitoshirezu Sumika – Earth Release: Hidden Dwelling

Description – This jutsu creates an underground house-like structure, with earthen rooms and doors and everything. The user can create an opening to the house on the ground at will, but it provides only basic defense without further reinforcement. The house is only a basic shape, though the user can create chairs and such as need be. Using water and fire releases, the user can provide a comfortable home for long-term use.

Raiton: Karada Setsudan - Lightning Release: Body Disconnection

Description - Using lightning release, the user converts their chakra to electrical signals and manipulates their nervous system. This particular jutsu is designed to cause numbing, preventing the user from feeling any sensation in the target area, but also prevents them from moving that area. The jutsu can be applied to others willingly, but applying it to an enemy in the heat of battle is difficult due to the precision and constant pressure required, but can still be used.

Raiton: Karada no Shinsei - Divinity of the Body

Description - Drawing off the concept of Karada Setsudan, this jutsu uses electrical impulses to also control the body, while simultaneously cutting off the nervous system. Through this, the user can function at nearly their full fighting capacity, with the additional benefit of being immune to pain. Obviously, the jutsu still does not make the user immune to damage in any way. Keeping this jutsu in effect is a great effort, and as such it is difficult to concentrate on both performing other jutsu and keeping this one in effect. Requires Karada Setsudan.

Description - Forming lightning or fire chakra in their hand, the user creates a glowing effect to light up the area. Lightning chakra is more effective at lighting, but fire chakra also provides warmth. The jutsu is too weak to properly damage an enemy.

Quality of Life - Since this doesn't really have any use in combat I don't really think I'd force you to create a custom. But I'll talk to the other mods about it.

Body Disconnection - When applying to an enemy how must it happen? Is it a mere touch or do they have to hold the connection for a minute? Just need more specifics.

Divinity of the Body - I'd probably be okay with this one, I had a similar one a while back actually.
