| “Heeere Doggy,” Kagura called out. “Heeeeere Doggy Doggy.”
“You know, somehow I don't think calling out for a 'doggy' is going to make the dog we're looking for just come bounding up to us,” Shiro commented.
Kenshin glanced over at them. “Actually... the dog's name is Doggy. Well, for short. It's full name is... well, Doggy Doggy.”
Shiro deadpanned. “Fucking serious... talk about a complete lack of originality, I swear. This old woman needs some mental help.”
Kagura giggled. “Knowing how things have been going, that'll probably be our next mission.
“Target at eleven o'clock,” Sonya said over her headset. A fluffy little canine ran out from behind a building and stood there, wagging its tail. “I'm buying lunch for whoever manages to nab the little fella.”
Shiro's eyes lifted a little. “I'm on it!” he called out, sprinting at the dog... only to trip and fall over a pile of garbage on the way. His teammates laughed at his misfortune as they ran by him.
